So far, our summer has consisted of a lot of rain, carnivals and bike riding around the neighborhood.
About a month ago, Alexis decided she wanted to learn how to ride her bike without training wheels. She was so determined that she practiced an entire day and has been riding her big bike ever since! It only took 1 day! I did make her take breaks but I couldn't believe how focused she was and never got frustrated.
Andrew didn't show any interest in riding without training wheels until more recently. And I think Alexis has been talking him into it. She is such a little mom to him and holds his bike and encourages him. It's really cute.
He does whatever she is doing and listens to her more than me!!
We had a really fun day with friends at a children's theme park in Elk Grove.

A couple of weeks ago was Oswego's carnival, PrairieFest.
This was my favorite picture from the rides!
It was Andrew's favorite but they both loved being whipped around in the car!
Alexis's favorite was the free fall drop, which I was nervous for her to go on since it was mostly older kids but she begged to go and then ended up getting back in line to go again and again!
