Snow, Snow, Go Away!

We were literally stuck in the house for a couple of days last week with the crazy blizzard! I was actually supposed to work but couldn't get my car out of the driveway because the snow had drifted so high against the garage door. I was happy because I was able to spend one more day off work after a week vacation for Alexis's birthday festivities. One more day with Albert and Alexis! Good thing she had just gotten a bunch of new toys for her birthday to entertain her!!

Having fun riding around the kitchen in her new wagon Grandma & Grandpa got her!!

Toys are invading our house!! Please let us sell this townhouse soon so we can get a bigger house!

Wanna ride?

This is a view from our back patio. The snow is half way up our neighbor's sliding back door!

I thought this looked cool-- a snow circle on our window!

From inside our garage looking out onto the driveway-- this is why I couldn't get to work ;)

It was fun while it lasted but now I'm ready for summer!!!!!!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Alexis!!!

Last Friday, Alexis turned 1 year old!! We started the day off at the doctor's for her 12 month appointment. Here are her stats:

Weight = 20 lbs, 14 oz - (50th percentile)
Height = 30 inches - (75th percentile)

It turned out to be a big weekend celebration and we had lots of fun! Alexis's Aunt & Uncle flew in from California for the big occasion and Alexis had a blast spending time with them! Many of our family and friends drove long distances to share the day and weekend with us! We are blessed to have so many special family and friends that care for Alexis!

her new favorite expression.... the "scrunchie" face!

On her birthday, we went to Cirque du Soleil and out for dinner. She did pretty well and seemed to enjoy the show until towards the end when she got a bit restless.

And the party begins!!

Family and friends gathered for pizza and cupcakes to help celebrate!

One of Alexis's friends... so adorable!

another handsome little friend of Alexis

uh oh... there's that face again! silly girl!!

After a long nap after her party, she was ready to play!!

I love this one!!

She loves her new car! Can't wait for warm weather so we can play outside!

***A big thanks to Priscilla for taking all of these wonderful pictures and letting me share them!
