I've been thinking lately how nice it would be to live somewhere that's warm all year long, or almost all year. We have had so much fun since the weather has been nice and warm!! The kids love playing outside! Alexis just loves running around in the back yard, riding her bike and helping me pick weeds. I'm not lying about the weeds... she really does! She's often is the one who starts it, and then it's me, helping her. Andrew loves finding bugs, digging in the dirt and playing with rocks. They both love riding their bikes and scaring me with how fast they go flying down the sidewalk!
if only these little cars on the carts at the grocery store had windows and locks on the doors ;)

The Brookfield Zoo has a new exhibit on dinosaurs. The kids were a little scared at first but Andrew loved watching them. They both had fun searching for dinosaur fossils.
He fell asleep on the way home still holding onto his toy dinosaur!
She danced, skipped and ran around this tree at least 20 times. She was in her own little world-- so happy and free!
Andrew sat on the blanket and enjoyed some snacks!
We haven't gone to the big pool yet this year but we have swam in our yard a couple of times.
Alexis was so happy until she went down the slide for the first time and the water was freezing! She jumped out, covered up with a towel and didn't want to go back in.
Andrew, on the other hand, could have cared less. I don't even think he noticed the water was cold! He jumping in and splashing the whole time!
All 4 of us went to get haircuts the other day. It was finally a success! Nobody cried!!!
Well, nobody cried until we went to Home Depot. We went there after haircuts and this little guy threw a fit until he got to sit on the tractor!
"Shhhhh...." she told me. "My baby is sleeping."
Look at our bok choy! It's getting so big! I'm hoping to cook it up soon before Andrew picks it all. I guess he thinks it's a weed!!
