This past week has been busy! We have been de-cluttering, organizing, and cleaning like crazy in preparation to put our townhouse up for sale.... again!! We met with a realtor, had pictures taken of the house and hopefully there will be a For Sale sign up in our yard sometime today!!
I don't know how we are going to keep our house clean with these 2 little people :)
Alexis, Andrew and I took our very 1st trip (without Albert) out together. Except for our slight emergency trip (I thought) to the doctor. We were completely out of formula and Albert was leaving for work. Me, being a hermit crab during the winter, normally just send Albert since he loves to get out of the house and "browse" (his words) around stores. I had no choice but to pack up the kids and brave the craziness of 2 kids! I know, I act like this is some feat, but it is.... in my mind, at least. Moms do it all the time, right?! As soon as we pulled into the parking space at Target, Alexis was yelling, "ICEE! ICEE!" She walked into the store and right over to the cafe area like she's done it before!! Now I know what they do while I'm at work!! :) So she sat in the back of the stroller, our new sit 'n stand, and Andrew up front while we cruised around the store. Andrew never made a peep and Alexis didn't either, as long as she was sippin' on her ICEE! She stayed sitting the whole time and we made it in and out pretty quickly. I got the kids back in the car and took a big sigh of relief! I did it! No crying, no running down isles trying to catch Alexis, no tantrums... just a quick and easy trip! That was, until I couldn't figure out how to fold the stroller to get it back in the car. We haven't had the stroller long and Albert always puts it away. I jiggled every button I saw, pulled on every handle... and nothing! I looked around hoping nobody was watching me! I even tried to put it in the car like it was and nope, it wouldn't fit! I frantically called Albert at work, not thinking he would answer, but he did and luckily talked me through it!
Andrew loves Hawaiian bread! Just like his daddy!!
playing at the mall
I saw Andrew doing this this morning and it reminded me of when Alexis pulled herself up at this very same spot. I can't help but keep comparing them! Andrew does so many of the same things Alexis did!
We walked down the street today to get some breakfast at Dunkin Donuts.
Alexis picked out her dress this morning and put on her rain boots by herself! It was a good pick
because there was puddles along the way and she enjoyed jumping in them!!
Singing on the way back home with her "coffee" aka chocolate milk!
