We are officially going crazy!! Well, I am, at least! With all the record breaking amounts of snow and crazy cold weather, it is so hard to keep the kids entertained in the house for months at a time. Thank goodness today is the last day of February because Spring has to be coming soon! Pleeeeaaaase!! I have recently been seriously considering moving somewhere warmer. All I know is my next car will have heated seats :)
So, here's some things we've been doing while trapped in the house:
Alexis is getting really good at writing her name. She has been doing it for awhile now but just this week she can now do it in lower case, like her teacher wants her to.
This is her working on her Valentine's a couple of weeks ago.
Silly kids.... I blame it on the weather...... or maybe it was all the Valentine's Day candy :)
a new spin on bowling
During Andrew's naptime, Alexis and I have been spending time together doing crafts and practicing her letters. She occasionally gets frustrated but as long as I'm sitting there with her, she could seriously sit for hours writing and drawing.
Andrew loves to help in the kitchen. He likes to help me make my coffee and he's a fantastic stirrer :)
Getting dominoes for her birthday was a huge hit with Alexis (when she's not playing barbies). She plays with them almost everyday. She loves to line them all up in a row and knock them down. Her new favorite thing is stacking them on top of each other to make a tower.
