Mystery Reader

Today we surprised Alexis and went to her classroom at preschool!  For their birthday at school, a parent or grandparent can come and be a "mystery reader" and read a favorite book for their child and bring treats.  Since I'm not into public speaking, I talked Albert into doing it :)  Andrew and I came along and watched.  When we first got there, all the kids were sitting on the rug with their eyes closed waiting to see who the mystery reader was.  As soon as she saw Albert sitting in the chair, she got up and sat by him.  She was soooo shy.  The teacher couldn't believe how she went from so outgoing and talkative in class to shy so quickly.  As Albert was reading, she sat close and by the end of the story, she was hanging on him and practically on his lap.  After the story, her teacher gave her a crown to wear and necklace with a number 4 and everyone sang Happy Birthday to her.
